In 2024 Northern United Sports Club became a NZ Football accredited TDP (Talent Development Programme) club, and we have now been accepted into the NRFL Youth Leagues that will see us pitted against some of the best teams in the North Island at age levels U14, U15 and U17.

NRFL and WaiBOP Federation Youth Trials 

We are excited to confirm that trials for our proposed NRFL and WaiBOP Federation Youth teams will be held during November.

As a Club, we are committed to providing challenging and competitive playing opportunities that help our players continue to develop their skills, confidence and football knowledge.

We are aiming to enter teams in NRFL and WaiBOP Federation competitions for the following age groups:

·        U13 Mixed – Born 2014 (Federation)

·        U14 Mixed – Born 2013 (NRFL & Federation)

·        U15 Mixed – Born 2012 (NRFL & Federation)

·        U17 Mixed – Born 2010-2011 (NRFL & Federation)

Further details about the trial process, team expectations and programme structure will be shared at the information session.

We will be holding an information session on Monday 2 November at Rototuna Library. Parents, whānau and players are warmly invited to come along to hear more about our plans and approach to Federation football. Please note the session time for your age group:

·        U13 & U14 Mixed – 6:00pm

·        U15 & U17 Mixed – 7:15pm

Our TDP trial dates have now been set. Players must attend both trial sessions for their age group to be considered:

Tuesday 27 October

• 4:00pm - U13 Mixed

• 5:30pm – U15 Mixed

Thursday 29 October

• 4:00pm - U14 Mixed

• 5:30pm – U17 Mixed

Tuesday 3 November

• 4:00pm - U13 Mixed

• 5:30pm – U15 Mixed

Thursday 5 November

• 4:00pm - U14 Mixed

• 5:30pm – U17 Mixed
